Zumba fitness is a total workout that combines cardio and fitness moves in a way that makes you feel like you are at a Latin
dance party! Lot's of people I've talked to have been able to lose weight from doing Zumba as their only exercise. Zumba
dance fitness is made to be simple. It comprises easy, repetitive dance and fitness steps done to fun, motivating music.
Anyone can join in, but if you're a beginner and like to know what you are doing ahead of time you can practice with a Zumba
DVD at home and learn the basic moves before going to your first class. Then start to lose weight and actually enjoy it!

into the Zumba dance workout including salsa, cha-cha, merengue, cumbia, belly dance, reggaeton, hip-hop, funk
and even swing! You will get to know the different rhythms, improve your timing and coordination, and will learn the
basic steps to most latin dances.
So you've decided to give Zumba a try. Great! How do you start? Well one way is to just jump right into a class.
Since you are a beginner at Zumba, your first few classes may not seem easy unless you have some dance training;
just keep in mind that there is a lot of repetition of each movement and as you take more and more classes you will be
able to do all the steps. Soon you won't even have to think about the steps--they will just come naturally and you
won't be a Zumba beginner anymore.
Wear sneakers with good support and bring a bottle of water and maybe a hand towel if you tend to sweat a lot. Most
of all have fun! There is plenty of smiling, laughing and sometimes shouting in Zumba classes! Remember, it's
supposed to be a Latin dance party!
You can also buy the Zumba DVD set and exercise at home. Many women who have kids at home and can't get away to a
