This show featured young dancers (most
18 or 19 years old) competing to win the
title of America's best dancer. The styles
of dance that they had to learn were
different types of ballroom dance such as
fox trot and quickstep; salsa and samba;
jive and mambo; broadway and
contemporary; hip hop and bollywood, to
name a few. This show has been an
inspiration for people of all ages, showing
that hard work, perseverance and doing
what you love to do will pay off!
I thought that these dancers showed
extraordinary maturity in the face of
pressure, physical stress and not to
mention being vulnerable to not only the
judges but also to millions of people every
week!

After hearing the announcement that he had won, Joshua told the audience: "You can do anything...don't
